HYPERTENSION

Dr. Harold Kunz is the Principal Investigator in a clinical research study for people with high blood pressure. This study will see if two blood pressure medicines (Coreg CR and Lisinopril) taken together can help patients bring down their blood pressure. Study doctors will compare the study combination (two medications) to one medicine taken with placebo (an inactive pill).

You may be eligible to sign up for this study if you:

1. Are 18-80 years old

2. Have High Blood Pressure (called hypertension)

3. Do not have diabetes or congestive heart failure

The study coordinator will go over other study rules with you at the clinic. Participants who qualify will be in the study for up to 12 weeks. There will be approximately 7 – 12 visits to the study doctor. There is no cost to study participants for all visits to the study doctor, medical exams, or study medicine.
